The lip smacking variety of Punjabi food comprises of sarsoon ka saag, matar paneer, dal makhani, tandoori tikkas Sprinkled with rich spices and hot green chillies, the dishes are just too perfect to arrest the culinary imagination of food lovers. Traditional Punjabi food consists of various kinds of breads, some are baked in the tandoor such as tandoori roti, lachha paratha, naan and kulcha while others are dry baked on tawa like makki ki roti.
